Summer Activities
Summer Age Groups
Youth Center Daily Drop-In and Summer Trips are open to youth entering 3rd to 8th grade for the 2022-2023 school year, no exceptions.
Summer Daily Drop-In
Youth will participate in fun filled arts and crafts activities, STEM activities, active games and more. Summer Drop-In Programs will be held Monday through Thursday afternoons, with activities from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm! There are no "re-entry" privileges; youth exiting the program for the day will not be readmitted.

Summer Trips
The Stan Bassett Youth Center (SBYC) offers a wide variety of summer trips to area attractions and events. Trip include adventures to the Point Defiance Zoo, beach days, the Woodland Park Zoo day, hikes/nature walks, and many more. Summer trips provide youth with an opportunity to bond with other youth, and to visit a wide range of attractions which they may otherwise be unable to visit. Summer Trip Registration
Summer trips require a separate registration. Summer trips open for registration on May 23, 2022, register online or in person at the Stan Bassett Youth Center between noon and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Register Online: Summer Trip Registration
Please Note: Space is EXTREMELY limited. Space is limited for each trip, trip spots can only be reserved with registration and when required, payment.
